The Kofa High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (MCJROTC) Rifle Team competed in the MCJROTC National Rifle Championship in Anniston, Alabama, from February 12-16, placing seventh out of 20 teams earning them their first-ever team invitation to the All-Service Rifle Nationals.
The opening matches of the tournament begin Thursday, Feb. 20 for boys and Friday, Feb. 21 for girls. Both events are held at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix.
More than 300 Kofa High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) students participated and completed “Stop the Bleed” training on February 20.
