The Kofa High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC) rifle team had two cadets compete at the All-Service National Championship earlier this year.

Kofa High School student Enrique Diaz was selected as a recipient of the El Valle Puede Scholarship worth $20,000.
The scholarship, funded by the Helios Foundation in collaboration with the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation and the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), is awarded to five seniors in the state of Arizona to use towards their education at an Arizona public university.

Kofa High School senior Yaoxi Chen has been selected as a recipient for the Dorrance Scholarship, an award worth up to $12,000 per academic year, renewable for up to four years.

Kofa High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) nursing teacher Hilary Habecker won first place in a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) history competition against other Arizona HOSA advisors.

Kofa High School Law and Public Safety teacher Eric Frost has been selected as the SkillsUSA Arizona Advisor of the Year.
Frost was nominated by his students and his Instructional Leader, Kylie Mackell, who submitted information on his success as a SkillsUSA advisor and the accomplishments of Kofa’s Law and Public Safety program.

Yuma Union High School District student nutrition managers and assistant managers earned their School Nutrition Association (SNA) credential certifications.
The SNA provides leadership development through online coursework and operational training in partnership with the Institute of Child Nutrition.
